That's me at six weeks old lying on a 70's shag style carpet. Born in Edmonton Alberta, 1972, my mom 16 and dad 18. I wasn't a planned pregnancy and conceived on the couch at moms parents place. Apparently my dad said, "should I pull out?" Guess he didn't. Namao Military base PMQ's. My parents, military brats.
I wish I could recall what I was going through my mind at 6 weeks or recall my home life, but I don't. What I do know is during birth I got stuck in my moms canal, she was just to small and had to have an emergency C section. I was then transferred into intensive care for a week before my parents could hold me. By all accounts I was a really good baby happy and loved. Once I could crawl and then walk, I started exploring my surroundings and when I was told no, well I was bound to do it. It seemed even from a very young age I was not going to follow rules and simply fall in line with human conditioning.
I see a lot of kids that don't listen so I wasn't unique this way, but I never did conform as the majority eventually do. To this day I do not like rules, rules, who's making up these rules anyway ! Case in point, one day the government of our beloved nation is hunting and putting people in jail for growing and selling cannabis and then they change the rules, making it legal.
Here's what I do know about life at 6 weeks old. I was happy, life was simple, no external pressure from society, expectations or heavy demands, no addiction, no insecurities, no ego or endless number character defects popping up undermining my happiness, no girls, no violence, no criminal activity, no beefs or problems with my peers or any of the bullshit life can throw at us.
I was just eating, pooping, burping and living my best life.
