Vancouver, BC, February 3, 2025 - Kitsilano residents and visitors, it’s time to show your love! The Love Your City contest is back, and this year, it’s bigger than ever. Organized by 15 Business Improvement Associations across Vancouver, this initiative encourages everyone to celebrate their favorite local businesses and neighborhoods in a fun and interactive way.

One of the best ways to participate is by writing a love letter to a Kitsilano business or the neighborhood itself. Whether it's a heartfelt note about your go-to café, the boutique that always has the perfect finds, or the stunning views at Kits Beach, your words can help spread appreciation for the community that makes this area so special.

How can you join in? Post your love letter on social media and tag @loveyourcitycontest, or drop off a handwritten version at the special mailbox located at the corner of Cypress and 4th. Once you’ve submitted your letter, head over to Oh La La Donuts at 1818 West 4th Avenue and claim your free doughnut as a sweet reward!

As a bonus, participants who engage with the contest on Instagram have a chance to win a grand prize package worth approximately $4,000, filled with goodies from various BIA neighborhoods. The contest runs until February 28, 2025, so don’t miss your chance to share the love and support local businesses in Kitsilano!
